Custom Built Sheep/Goat Hay Feeders - $400 (Lincoln)

**I always have a hard time finding sheep/goat hay feeders for miniature/dwarf-size goats and sheep. Most feeders are just too tall. So, I have started building my own feeders at the height of my animals so that they can effectively use the feeders.**
8' Hay Feeder (two-sided): $600
4' Hay Feeder (two-sided): $400
*NOTE: I switched the feeder panels that I use. I now use Premier 1 Supplies feeder panels with 3"x5" hole spacings (instead of 4"x4" panels) as these are designed better for sheep and goat noses and faces to get the hay without rubbing the hair off of their face and it also prevents babies from getting their heads stuck in the feeders.
Pictured are the 4' and the 8' feeders I built for our American Blackbelly sheep. I built it where the 2nd 2x4 (from the ground) is at 15" from the ground at the top of the 2x4 as that is about the perfect height for our ewes.
So measure your animals and determine the best height for where you would want that 2nd 2x4 (that holds the bottom of the feeder) and I can build you a feeder the height you need.
